Our verdict
Newgrounds has hosted creator-made games, animation and music since 1995, and players vote on what gets featured. Many old Flash titles stay playable thanks to the Ruffle emulator. Parts of the site carry adult ratings, so content filters matter, and some pages feel dated.
What works
- Decades of games made by its community
- Player votes shape the front page
- Ruffle keeps old Flash work playable
- Sections for animation and audio too
What to weigh
